Art is a reaction it is not a creation (for Individual Circuitry).

“It is not like the 1st gate is going to end up being the great artist.
The 1st gate may create a new genre because it is a mutative force. It may need to express itself in a unique way that nobody else has ever done. But that doesn’t mean they will be the best at it.
And it is one of my keys for individuals to recognize and for all of you to recognize through any individual gate that where ever that gate is, it is never a place where you can be the best, because you are not supposed to.
The collective and the tribe find that stuff very important-best, worse, lists.
And when the individual gets caught up in the being best then it loses all its creative possibilities. It can only, only be what it is, unique, different.
Nobody would want Bob Dylan to sing well. Part of the attraction is the uniqueness. But we wouldn’t want him to sing like the rest of the collective then it would be undistinguishable...
It says creation is independent of will (line 1). The whole foundation of being creative is that creation is independent of will.
Creativity, this is the joke about the creative; the creative is reactive because everything else is. Art is a reaction it is not a creation.
The uniqueness is how it is filtered but it doesn’t belong to the filterer…
We are the dancers in the dance, there is a perfect timing for us, that is being yourself.
If you are the 1st gate how do you expect to have consistent creative expression?
You are not the 8th gate you don’t even know it’s there in the lower trigram, it’s not like that is going to be an easy process for you.
If you cannot accept that it is the hand of god or the muse that opens up the door, if you insist that I am going to create and I am going to create at this moment you are going to run into a lot of trouble.
Pain, frustration, anger; you end up producing a lot of garbage…
If you have to be best you have to practice. You can’t become the best without practice.
And you are not going to practice unless you are logical [hello Andrea’s 16/48 👋🏽], because repetition is the format of the logical process.
You get focused you get in, you do it over and over and over again all of your life. But to be creative is not about practice.
To be creative is a spontaneous release and it happens on its own timing.
Craft is something that you can learn, but creativity is something that is like the wind.
It blows or it doesn’t blow it comes or it doesn’t come. And nobody and no thing controls that.
There is so much arrogance in creativity, so much vanity attached to creativity. “I painted that,” “I wrote that”
Instead of the realization, “it painted me” and “It wrote me,” which is the truth.
Or “it painted through me” or “it wrote through me.”
