Roadtrippin’ by Lars Haugeland
Just spotted this gem by Lars (5/2 splenic P in his experiment a few years longer than me if I recall š¤)
@emoprolindsay a search for 5/2 in the Koen group lead me to it š¤ - though Lars is no longer a member there, he is still a member of the Projector VIP group that I am back-up admin to.
Makes me realize how many of his posts Iād love to share here. Might ask him about that š¤
They happen infrequently and theyāre nearly always gems like this one - from 5 years ago.
Gosh I love that the Internet stores stuff for bumping into later like this š
Hereās Lars -
āRoadtrippin'.
I used to be a driver, you know. Used to think I was real good at it too. Such control. Such speed. Much bravado. I hated being in the passenger-seat. Never got comfortable there. Kept trying to interfere. Commenting on the driving style. Fiddling with the GPS and arguing about the quickest route to wherever. Complaining and bitching and being the harbinger of "helpful" advice.
So they put me in the backseat. I've got it all to my Self. I'm looking out the rear window now as the landscape zooms into being from no-when. Looking backwards as the future becomes view. They're talking up front, but all I hear is the whoosh of the vehicle and the chain of my thoughts. Not seeing the road or the driver, they're easier to ignore. Just an abstract-minded kid half daydreaming, half observing, chin on the headrest and a lollipop dangling in my hand.
Are we there yet?
Where is "there", anyway?
I truly don't care. We'll see. I'm fine here for now.ā
