From killing comes spirituality 🤔
Maybe “from death” is more to the point?🤔
My 19/49 approves (even though I don’t think of myself as particularly spiritual - but it’s also unconscious in my Design so …🤷🏻♀️)
There’s been a bit of what I’d characterize as a bit of outcry shaming from vegan quarters recently in one of the FB groups especially. This might be curated (by Chiatanya originally) in response to that - or maybe it’s just coinkydink 😄🤷🏻♀️😊.

“So the spirituality that everybody thinks is so delicious, you know - I know so many people who say, "I have the 19/49... I'm tribal and mystical. Don't shoot me, please." Because at the root of that you have to see what the other side is. You only know how powerfully mystical death is when you're there with death. These ancient festivals that were celebrated with the slaughtering of animals - this is quite a thing, this living force that you're going to take its flesh in and you're going to eat that for your sustenance. The pressure to be sensitive creates out of that our spirituality.
Out of killing comes our spirituality. In our language we know that they're endowed with crystals of consciousness. They know that any human being at any given time can recognize the spirit in a fellow creature. And to kill it and take it as sustenance, there was something inside of us that could not let it just be that way, our sensitivity. So we take the slaughtered sheep and we throw it up into the sky and we honour it, or the bull, or whatever. We turn them into our gods and our goddesses. We build idols to them. We slaughter them and we eat them and we praise them. We praise their spirit. Spirituality comes out of killing - it's rooted in killing.
You can make all that nice and say sacrifice. Would anybody follow Jesus if he hadn't been nailed up? I mean, killing breeds faith. It's one of those things that's so amusing about the tribe. Don't take that serious. The tribe's like that. I mean, that's what the tribe is all about. "My God's better than your God. I'll kill you if you say anything different. And the only reason that I'm like that is my God started when I started killing 'cause I felt uncomfortable with taking life."
