Right Minds have to be tapped into, or nothing happens
‘The right is so different, this whole business of not having an agenda.’
"When we move over to the right side obviously everything changes. Everything changes because we move into a receptive mind, a receptive mind that is fundamentally a resource. The right is so different, this whole business of not having an agenda.
One of the things I really begin to understand about the right is the need for the social dynamic in the life, obviously not something that is simple if you’re a lower trigram. Here, for example, the classic of this variation could be a 1/4. You’re going to have a personality that is an investigator’s personality and yet at the same time there does not appear to be any investigation taking place, there doesn’t. There doesn’t because you’re not dealing with a strategic application. It doesn’t appear that they’re investigating anything specific. As a matter of fact, they’re just simply taking things in. They’re just a resource.
So obviously, the way in which this resource is going to reach the surface, the way in which this particular mind is going to be able to get to realize its potential and see its worth is that it is going to need to be moved by the outside world. Remember that when we’re looking at the right side we’re looking at an evolutionary pattern of the future.
We’re looking at the movement away from the left to the right, but not within the context of being human. This is where the real dilemma is. That is, the fulfillment of the potential of the right is antithetical to what it is to be human. That is, it involves the denial of self, the denial of unique purpose. All of that disappears. There is simply the receptivity of the resource to be used. And within the context of rave there was a dynamic that could pull them together into what would be a conscious penta and the conscious penta would assume the strategic responsibilities to protect and maintain the components of the penta, but they would simply be components.
We are not here to be components; not humans, not as humans. It’s a great dilemma. We see that the homogenized world makes components out of everyone, and in a sense tries to get everyone to be attached to the not-self and never leave it. It’s quite something. There is great conditioning on these receptive minds, great conditioning to be strategic.
The real dilemma for the right is that it’s not used; it cannot use itself. It needs to be used by the other. And if it’s not used then it doesn’t have the fulfillment that is a requirement for them in terms that they can fulfill their potential as well. It is my concern for everyone who is right-sided in terms of the personality that they begin to understand that other than manifestors and even manifestors, because everything is about waiting. Design really points to the fact that the vast majority of humanity is here to respond or react to the world. And something that is absolutely essential if you’re right fixed is to understand that it is the world that will draw the resource from you.
But the moment you try to be strategic with it—you have a sense you have a gift, you have sense that you take things in and then you try to initiate out of that process as if you’re a strategic being. Oh, what a mess. And you don’t know what to take. You don’t know what resource to actually tap into, because it’s not your work. This is not the way your mind is wired. It’s not the way it can be of value to you. It is to be a resource for others. Of course, this leads to one of the most profound things that is in Human Design, by being able to operate according to strategy and authority you have the ability to be able to control the quality of the beings that are in your life, the very nature of their very aura, the essence of what they are. After all, we take people in and we take them in very deeply.
For those beings on the right to have forces in their life that tap into their resource rather than conditioning to be strategic is so important for them. This is an extraordinary potential for an investigator; we’ve never seen anything like that, this investigator that carries the deep, deep potential to be the judge, to truly be able to critically assess in innocence the results of or the information investigated. And yet, they cannot offer it; they wouldn’t know what to offer. It simply has to be taken from them, asked of them; a totally different process.
The whole work in Rave Psychology, the mass of the work is going to be dealing with the right side, how to both therapeutically work with adults who have been conditioned who are right-sided in terms of their minds, how to help them find balance in their process; but most of all, how to raise our right-sided children. These right-fixed children have never been given the benefit of what they can achieve, because the strategic approach of their parents in the way in which they are raised and schooled and all of these things, they are often seen as being less capable when in fact they have enormous depth; it’s just never tapped into as a resource."
