“Number 2 Taste is about those beings that have to be very selective in their diet.
These beings are about repeating the same dietary regimen with changes for [each] season. But basically the same dietary regimen, the same as same as it can be!
And you can see that on the left [top red arrow points left] these are the open [Taste] and on the right these are the closed [Taste].
Think about a baby, you know, the [Color] 2 that is open, it opens its mouth and in the case that it’s spits it out, don't give it anymore.
It’s open to check, checking to see.
But if you go on the other side to the closed, the closed knows before you get that spoon in front of the baby and it got its mouth closed doesn't want to open cause it knows it doesn't want it [that the body doesn’t want it].
You see these beings have been deeply conditioned from day one; you know they've got a loving mother who wants to change their food diet every day.”
This is my PHS Taste - Open and the “variety is healthy” thing that I got to see most obviously when I first began experimenting with my PHS.
I had that loving mother who, while she thankfully did not encourage me to eat anything that didn’t taste like I wanted more (she did encourage the tasting part though, so good thing I have Open Taste vs Closed 🙃, but she also WAS very much into “bodies need variety” to be healthy.
And that got so fascinatingly drilled into me - I had zero clue to what degree until PHS came along.
But once I saw it, I knew the truth of it for me.
I’m the sort of eater that can make a big pot of something that I find super delicious and want to eat only that - meal after meal until it’s gone.
And that clashed directly with how I ‘thought’ meals were ‘supposed to be’ for a family. I still get to watch that programming pressure my thinking 🙃
Now I live with two right arrow pointing Color 3 - Thirst/Hot people. They’re good with my pot of soup or they can go find their own (warm) meal.
Recently, our power was out for 3 days with a storm and I watched my son really suffer without the ease of heating food. My husband has been conditioned away from that - can eat food straight out of a tin can (which generally speaking my Taste rolls its eyes at 🤭).
Last night, he defrosted some lamb chops and was about to (F them up lol) by ‘cooking’ them in the microwave 🤦🏻♀️😳. All he cared about was that they be warm.
I saved them 😄. Had to google how to pan fry them and omgosh were they delicious.
Here’s a video I made a few years back talking about this particular PHS in my Design -
Human Design PHS - Digestion/Determination - Color & Tone 2 - Taste (my experience so far)
