Quotes about the integration channels
From Koen Hillewaert - Quote of the day
“The Integration Channels are not concerned with communication.
The Integration Channels are not in fact a circuit.
They are the foundation of our biodiversity, representing the evolutionary force that separates us from our mammalian past.
They are the channels that formed as humans first began to walk upright, thus they represent our transition from being a mammal to becoming Homo erectus.
The Integration Channels are what make us selfish, therefore ensuring our individual survival.
Selfishness is actually good for the genes, since if we didn’t look after ourselves first, our species would soon die out. People with definition in these channels are here to display self-love by putting themselves first.
This is exemplified by: I love myself (10) and I empower myself (34) by listening to my intuition (57) in the Now (20).
The Integration Channels are resolutely separate from the six basic circuits in the bodygraph, and unlike them, they are not concerned with communication.
Their self-absorbed and self-centred nature is very different from the Individual Channels in the Knowing and Centering Circuits.
They are not at all concerned with how they impact others. They thrive by simply following their own path through life.
People with these channels often have an animal quality to them that is rooted in an ancient impulse for survival.
The theme of their life has nothing to do with planning for the future or reflecting on the past. They are here to live in the Now.
This is a survival instinct rooted in: “what was that noise over there? Am I safe? Will it eat me?”
As the most complex connective circuitry in design, the Integration channels give rise to a complexity of voices and potential action.
They are after all, the only true existential voices we have.”

“There are no social channels within Integration.
And in that sense if you know of someone who only has one of these channels or someone who only has maybe two of these channels in their chart and nothing else, they can feel very alienated without any capacity to integrate with the other and I know these are called Integration channels but it’s about integrating within oneself.
Not about integrating with the other.
And it’s through circuitry that we connect to each other. It’s the circuit boards.
You’ve got one whole channel with Individuality you connect with everybody who has the other channels. That’s what circuitry is in Individuality.
Or if you have a couple of channels in Tribal circuitry you will connect with those people who have those same channels or other Tribal channels.
That’s what circuitry is about, it’s completing the circuits.
And if there is no circuitry only channels of Integration that can become very difficult for that person so it’s something to look for when you are looking at someone’s chart.”
