Turning 1k into 1M ... (Not quite ready for prime time, but wth 🙃)
You may already know I've been tinkering in cryptocurrency lately.
And by tinkering I mean learning via some real life trial and error 😅
Well, currently I'm not ready to show my cards ... maybe 'cause I've been stuck (upside down) in a trade for a few days now - after thinking I had it figured out.
Felt like I had a recipe for winning more than losing. Mindset challenges tackled.
But no. I got a little too comfy. Didn't take profit (twice now! LOL) when I could have - DOH!
🙄 😄
(this trade is actually making the Mindset part clear - I am seeming fairly solid on that front, not acting in haste, keeping my wits about me in this upside down trade - looking forward to riding it out with decent trade management, resigned to being liquidated should that come to pass unexpectedly)
BUT ... that doesn't mean I can't share the spreadsheet that got me excited now.
I also think this could be a perfect segue into the Secret Beliefs and Money Stories conversation (and possible recurring Zoom I'm game to host) that might be starting next Monday.
(@OW this is thanks to your message this morning - I'd made this doc last week and hadn't shared it yet.)
So I can do two things in this post -
First, I can share the link to the 1k to 1M doc (there's not a lot of context with it yet, but maybe some of us may be interested to go play around with numbers to see how this can crunch - that was an eye-opener for me).
The VEHICLE for making it possible, may tangle with your mind a bit - but for starters, let's just look at numbers.
What I like so much about this way of thinking is that it's the flip side of the consumer-side math we're all so used to being subjected to.
Instead of compound interest ... same formula ... can be compound investing.
Here's the doc:

It's at this point in typing this post that I thought of the Robert Kiyosaki book that maybe started it all .... mmm ... no it was a different guy's work ... another Robert if I recall.
(literally just had to wrack my brain to remember his name - I first experienced him via cassette tape if you can believe that - it was circa 1997. And hmm, I think he may have been the catalyst or breakthrough info to me heading down this track at all. The track that's been about what makes all this - and ultimately what makes people - tick. Hello Human Design :) )
This image below is from Robert Kiyosaki. I created it to go with a post I made in my Projectors in Business group in June 2018 (so nearly 3 years ago! - I'm dropping that original post into the comments)
This idea of compound investing landed on me so hard.
Maybe it's the gamer in me but it makes it feel attainable - like a leveling up would happen - in any game.
You just keep at it till you get to the next level.
Mind you, I've never made large sums happen except by serving others.
And though I do generally have the "not trading time directly for money" thing kinda down, via leveraged ways of "working" - without there even being anyone else involved ... this has been an entirely different sort of beast.
The second thing I can do in this post is turn you on to the Secret Beliefs training that I've side-mentioned a couple times (you may already have it, 'cause I've been recommending it for something like 9 years now).
You can grab your access to it here if you don't have it already -
http://doingbusinessasyourself.com/secretbeliefsworkshop2021
Don't worry - it's super affordable.
And once you watch the 4ish minute video on that page, you'll get the reference to the possibility of Monday zooming together.
Doesn't matter when you purchased it, though if you don't have access through the Planet Andrea member area, let me know so we can set that up for you, k?
Annnnddd let's see what happens next eh?
Secret Beliefs and Money Stories - I love love getting to the bottom of things in this direction with people who want that.
Takes courage. Can also take time.
But OMG the things we can discover along the way (hahaha reminds me of Dr Seuss for some reason :) )
Appreciate you!
Andrea
