Deconditioning & the Open Heart Nothing to Prove (or Improve)
Been talking a lot about two centers in particular for awhile now.
The Solar Plexus
The Ego Center
Like a lot a lot ... so it feels like a good time to get something down on paper
Maybe videos for sharing here and adding to the Level 1 & 2 libraries too - it's always cool when I get around to that I think, 'cause then you don't need me in person, 'ya know?
You can tap in whenever you want - even when I'm napping. :)
First thing I want to double down on being clear about is that - all parts of our bodygraphs can and are constantly being conditioned.
Short version - we're impacted by everything and everyone around us plus the Universal weather (the transits/just now charts).
The reason why deconditioning focus is on the open/undefined centers in our charts is because they're the most malleable.
Yes, defined centers are consistent and dependable - but they're also rigid and limited. And sticky - more tricky to decondition. They're the lens we bend reality through - they're steadfast.
Open Centers (white with no gate activations) and Undefined (white with one or more gates activated) are inconsistent energy portals, receivers, amplifiers ... of everything that is not "Us" ... they're where we get to have the possibility of deep and amazing wisdom ... or, when we identify with them, they can be a source of unimaginable suffering.
Now one of the main "points" (and most practical parts) of Human Design is to have awareness around where resistance can been reduced.
Resistance reduction is, if there is one, a Universal goal here.
Not fake, fluffy unicorn sweep things under the rug and put on a happy face flavored resistance reduction - that's called kicking the can down the road and it's what disease and inflammation are made of.
Suffering is certainly part of resistance.
Reducing resistance for our bodies, our vehicles and having awareness of how our Minds can often be working against that effort - tricky dicky Mind š - takes deconditioning.
And the Open/Undefined White centers are the first order of business. The low hanging fruit. The biggest bang for our efforts. The places that if we don't get them sorted - at least being in process -
Well, there is no way but through.
It's why first thing in Level 1, I suggest picking a center to focus on for the week. Because - till you get to practicing the noticing - nothing can change.
Delaying deconditioning is, imho, to stay married to the suffering - it's the notself Mind that is the source of suffering.
That said, we do each have our own whatever to work through - maybe with an aware therapist or guide -
And DEFINITELY our own timing and personal Authority. Which is the ultimate boss of us.
So, don't be too hard on yourself ... mourn whatever needs mourning (seeing and letting go be like dat)
It's a process.
Your assignment, should you choose to accept it (and really no choice either way eh? - I'm just channeling Get Smart or was it Mission Impossible with that line š) ...
Is to step into the arena. Bravely.
You deserve it.
Hugs,
Andrea
Now here's Ra -
"I think the most difficult of the open centers in terms of its power to be able to condition the not-self is the heart center.
The heart center is deeply, deeply complex and if you look at the way circuitry operates you can see very clearly that the heart center is the whole key to the entire. tribal process.
Everything about the tribe ultimately operates through that ego, operates through that heart center. It is the bedrock for our communal and entrepreneurial material drive in this life.
And when you are dealing with the heart center each of the gates, have their own very profound biological association.
So you are really dealing with a deep complexity. And on top of that, it is a motor.
Motor amplification is much more startling and can be really overwhelming compared to non-motor conditioning in that senseā¦
Not a lot of people in terms of percentage not in numbers not a lot of people that are going to have the heart center defined. It's about 30% of humanity.
Now think about that.
Think about the way we operate as a communal tribal specie.
And that you understand that the bedrock of most of our religions and philosophies are rooted in will and will power, as in thy will be done, then you will see that there is this enormous pressure that exists in those beings - 70% of them over 4 billion human beings have an open heart centerā¦
And they're all trying to prove something and they're all trying to improve themselves.
All of them.
And that any way they make a decision that decision is always based on -
āam I going to impress them?ā
āare they going to see that I am really worthy?ā
ācan I show them that I have really improved that I am a better person?ā
- all that stuff, to the point that it is frightening.
The other thing is that because it is a motor, youāve got 70% of the population can be ego cranked.
Easily ego crankedā¦
And you can imagine how difficult it is for the not-self that is already uncomfortable in its skin because it isnāt what it is.
That there in the background in the decision making process is this open heart center strategy of trying to prove things to others trying to prove yourself, and one of the most difficult things to explain to somebody that has an open ego center is that, āhey, look you donāt have anything to prove. Nothing.ā
You can test the proof of others but you have nothing to prove.
So as a not-self strategy this is very, very difficult because it really breeds a level of self-hatred.
And more than self-hatred it is one of the most confrontational configurations.
Because a person with an open heart center that gets that heart center amplified they can really be too much.
And again we are dealing with 4 billion people on the planet. So you donāt end up feeling worthy. And of course it is one of the most common things and it is the easiest way to bring the dark side of the heart center is to remind somebody with the open heart center that because they do not consider themselves worthy thatās not-self, because they do not consider themselves worthy, they always accept less than what they have a right to.
They will accept less love, they will accept less money, they will accept less of everything because they assume that they donāt deserve it because they are not worthy.
And only if they can prove themselves or improve themselves and so forth and so onā¦"
