February 2020 Promotion - Earn Free 1-on-1 Time with Me
Okay do-over time :)
I swear #3rdlinelife be like this... writing a whole long detailed post like I did the other day ... only to have it get swallowed up forever into the ether - SUCH a common occurrence.
Funny thing is, I don't even get upset anymore. Haven't for years.
Usually the next time 'round comes out clearer and more succinct, so ... whatever :)
Here's what's cooking around in my brain. I basically wanna ethically bribe you to start posting in here.
Maybe together we can get some momentum going - that'd be cool. One projector alone can't carry the conversation forever 'ya know. ;-)
So this is my way of creating what (hopefully) can feel like a win-win bargain for you.
Here's the offer -
Free 1-on-1 Zoom time with me in exchange for posting content/questions/curated items with a bit of your own "here's why this is interesting" story attached... even memes ... here in the Planet Andrea zone.
Here's what it'll do for you -
- Anyone who posts 3+ times successfully = 30 minutes Zoom time with me
- Anyone who posts 6+ times successfully = 60 minutes Zoom time with me
Here's the small print (how we'll measure the success piece) -
1. Each successful post needs to have minimum 6 likes and 3 comments (your own like and comment can count - feel free to have your friends join - just for the likes if you want)
2. In order to comment, you must first be a supporter (it's $5/mo and can be canceled any time)
3. Deadline for Feb 2020 posting is the 28th.
4. Post the urls to your posts in the comments of this thread as a list by the deadline (you can come back and add more to your comment as you go)
5. You must use your prize time within 60 days.
If all goes well, we may rinse and repeat with slightly different guidelines for a full month in March or April.
Here's what to do next - don't over think it!
Anything is appreciated ... bonus points if you pull something interesting out of me and or make me laugh :)
Original content is lovely, but not required. There's lots of ways to bring value to a space.
Everyone who lands here is hella interesting.... it goes without saying. Planet Andrea be a filter like dat :D
Now, I'm keen to have y'all get to know each other a bit.
Share your work!
Introduce yourself :)
Tell us how you find yourself here.
Would love to hear a bunch of backstories.
Did I mention - don't over think? 😀
A kind of interesting side note - the Locals team is currently testing a "tip jar" feature on the Dave Rubin locals and it could be that in the near future, that'll be an additional way that the community will be able to appreciate the folks who contribute - across multiple locals potentially.
It's an interesting idea - and actually it's what prompted me to dream up this idea.
Let's see what happens next :)
