A different approach for the Right (Mind) than the Left
“Now obviously that means that we need to have a different approach with those that are Right including the children and the way that we're going to teach people and all of that. This is a long process. This is really new stuff. I mean it really is an emergence of something that is really extraordinary in terms of the potential depth that is there. We've got people walking around in this room who are carrying so much information and honestly you don't know it because you've been trained to be Strategic. You've focused yourself on whatever your responsibilities are and in doing so you rob yourself of all that potential that's there.
If you're operating correctly according to your Authority what you'll discover is that if you shut up and wait for the question your power grows exponentially. It just does. Think about business. You're a businessman. You're Right and you've got a Strategic focus. You're going to have problems. You're always going to have problems and you're always going to be insecure about your material possibilities, even if you're doing well, because it's not natural. But the moment that you have an ally that taps into your resource, the moment that you have that kind of "Hey we've got this, what do we do?" - there's the answer. Like the savant. The freedom from reasoning. The freedom from having an agenda - so that the real depth is there.
It is a whole new approach in the way in which we have to, you know, think about any of you that have children, and you discover that your children are Right. You have to begin to encourage them to enter into a process of deep trust in themselves. See Strategic people don't have to trust themselves. They trust the analysis. You know, you trust the analysis, you work out the detail, you work out the data, but if you're Right you've got to trust yourself. And you see if you're not operating correctly if you haven't learned the lesson that you can actually be OK, if you don't know that, it's very hard to trust what's there. And how deep it is and how profound it is and how rich it is.
See I am a Strategic genius which means that basically I'm an idiot. I have this very narrow line that I have, that I am a natural master of - that's all. So I know mechanics. You want to know about mechanics? I'll tell you about mechanics, but there's so much out there and there's so much that I don't know. That I have no interest in knowing because as a Strategic being if I have to know it, boy, I have to get lost in it. I've got to analyse it and process it and figure out how I'm going to use it, what I'm going to charge for it and on and on and on.”
