"Do HD people celebrate calendar holidays?"
I think, they do everything, cause it's not a religion, it's all an individual experiment. So they do everything, or not. But aware.
I guess, each of them celebrate whatever their inner authority resonates to celebrate. Or not.
I celebrate every time I'm in the mood to celebrate. And it mostly doesn't correspond to homogenised holidays.
It's even called (in Ukrainian also) - the holy day. So everyone makes celebration whenever there's a day/moment that physically FEELS somehow in some way "holy" for them individually.
But mostly, notself uses holidays to compensate for the frustration of all other days. I hate that. I prefer all the way around. To celebrate my satisfaction every day. And to celebrate my frustration too, cause it's my greatest teacher. And not to fall for trap of wanting to compensate it. Or waiting only for some holiday to celebrate life and love myself.
I celebrate every day, but i don't make any thing out of what calendar says, if i don't feel it in my body, in my self. (Though transits i feel physically very strongly and shockingly precisely).
So each day becomes a holy day, and some of them more externally celebrational, and some less. But internally - all, despite the circumstances. Though it doesn't mean it has necessary to do with feeling happy etc.
But another advantage of being rooted in one's own process is the ability to see things as they are: to see that what's homogenised -is homogenised, and what is true - is true. What is you, and what is just another homogenised layer of the penta/wa/dogma/tradition game. And to see the no choice behind all of that, with no guilt/blame/shame game.
