Itās time I made my way back over here from being quite so FB newsfeed dependent.
So easy to get pulled back into using that as a first place I think to go connect with people.
Right now, FB seems like itās chilling out with the censorship.
But itās a trap. A complacency trap.
Itās super handy for shorter term group gatherings though and even a couple longer term specific conversation ones.
Like the TikTok challenge some of us just started yesterday.
Didnāt mention it here ācause it came up quick. And whenever itās my first time doing something like that with people Iām still semi-vetting... maybe next time I announce it here too - he does seem to be running a pretty darn tight ship.
And good things are being noticed all around- after just the first day.

Which brings me to this Canva quote I made yesterday afternoon.
It popped up on my screen via a Chrome browser extension called Momentum.
Each day, Momentum kicks out a new beautiful picture of somewhere in the world I wouldnāt have thought about that day - or maybe ever.
And a quote.
Often Canva worthy. I donāt always get around to making them, but yesterday it was perfectly timed.
Partly to be able to serve the peeps poking around at/in TikTok with me this round (theyāre in my Marketing Club group - you can come into that if youāre interested, thereās a $30/mo training door that I use as the Library each of us gets to pick from for their own marketing adventuring - I can add a link to find your way to it towards the end of this)
But whatās even more invisible to the general
Public eye (as it should be) are the people who I DM with each day.
Thereās always someone overthinking something š
I get to listen and offer my thoughts when invited (because Projector) but itās a fine line between being able to guide them and distraction from my own path ... getting caught up in the overthinking myself.
Sometimes leaning in the āand I can Prove itā zone. š
Which we already know, with an undefined will center, is not a place for me.
Not by a long stretch. Not yesterday, not today, not tomorrow.
Where was I going with this š¤
I didnāt actually have a plan. All of this is easily recognized in my Design btw.

Open head - get to catch myself thinking about things that donāt matter (to me) PLENTY lol - and thatās literally all that can be ādoneā is notice š
Thereās more. Still peeling back my own onion more than 5 years into this.
Something Iāve heard more than once lately from people - it came up for maybe 1/2 of the people or better whoāve read my latest private coaching offer.
Itās called HD for Coaches. Ask me about it if youād like.
What comes up seems to be multiple variations of the (frankly shitty) self-talk that goes something like this:
āWho am I to think I can ______ xyz___ā
And then the overthinking begins. Or maybe continues.
Now donāt get me wrong, I have nearly endless patience for the folks who recognize me and their own onion peeling process of discovery.
But that recognition has to happen first. So we both know that they can hear me when they need to.
Saves me from having to eat a bitterness sandwich too.
And itās not something that can be forced - sometimes these things take time š¤
Plus, thanks to Human Design, they have their own Inner Authority.
Their decisions get to be made from there - or not.
And you in your own coaching and guiding space (if thatās something you do - or even if youāre not, if youāre a Projector especially) - itās something that is very important to be able to see clearly.
Are you recognized? Okay, no not yet, so shut up.
Can you do anything for them? Yep encourage following their Inner Authority. And wait - timing is a thing.
A really important thing.
I donāt care if itās a client, potential client, friends, your kids or your partner - or whatever combination of those you may have some sway over... timing counts BIG TIME.
If thereās recognition - amazing!
If thereās not - be grateful youāre seeing that for yourself.

Meanwhile, go on about YOUR business. You and I both are not here to convince anyone of anything.
Overthinking ruins us.
Create the best offers and invitations you can where everyone wins big time.
Get it in front of enough of the right people.
And let the rest sort itself out.
Be the pursued, not the other way around.
The easiest way to that is via supply and demand.
The supply of YOU never changes (much), but demand can be increased.
Interestingly, itās usually connected to you being yourself out loud in some form or another.
Which is kinda what weāre playing with in any online traffic experiment.
And this TikTok game weāre playing right this sec is a perfect example.
The other day in fact, I got called to consult briefly (by someone who recognizes me as a go-to person for this) on ways to help someone (who doesnāt recognize me - not yet anyway) who had a TikTok video go COMMENT viral on that platform.
Sheās at 300k+ views ... 13k comments and counting (last I peeked in) 5 or 6 days later.
ALL of them wanting to talk directly to her.
1-on-1
Low supply, high demand. Itās a puzzle worth solving eh?
Problem is, she didnāt have anything set up to receive the (totally unexpected onslaught).
Couldāve helped her sort it out and manage more gracefully... BUT ... no recognition.
No pre-built know, like and trust.
So, nothing to do.
And for sure no overthinking over here šš¼
Which reminds me to loop back around and close that open loop I left hanging earlier (and writing THAT reminds me to get back to the Copy Playbook posts I started before the holidays ... dang there really is some tightening up to do here - coming soon :) )
First order of business I think is - find someone to do the Table of Contents doc we definitely could use here - or at least I know I could - before thereās just too many posts and no quick way to find them.
