Question from a Projector about his Generator daughter
This is a Right Mind gem worth saving it feels like - it’s a spin off from a thread I shared yesterday where a Generator was saying Projectors don’t ask her questions 😀
[...] So the way to deal with generators are asking them questions? Instead of telling them what to do.. My 12 year old is generator..
My reply -
If you’re looking to hear and have her be encouraged to hear her own Authority vs trying to get her to perform despite what her Authority would say … see the difference?
Then yeah the type of questions I made a (possibly big) assumption at the start of this is that it was Generator decision supportive yes/no answerable, sacral-moving questions was actually the type of question that Line was alluding to.
But there’s also Right or Left Mind that could be considered (I dunno what’s true there, I don’t have her chart) - Right Minds benefit greatly from questions they can riff off of and deliver Outer Authority from.
And what your daughter’s Authority is - will determine how immediate or not a given question might see some movement in one direction or another or not.
There’s some profile considerations (one particular one popped up recently “I can’t can you?” that’s handy for some Designs) and other chart things that can be looked at (like our circuitry that shows whether sharing, empowering or supporting is “our thing” - can help frame questions and guidance for us Ps anyway with our families at the least I think) but also for the most part, no one likes to be told what to do and I find that with our three at least - husband too really - a little lite informing can go a long way … for anyone.
