The "Problem" with Right Mind Boredom
If you have a Right Mind ... boredom might feel like a problem. It's super common for me.
Except it's not a problem ... not anymore.
Now instead of struggling against it, I get to watch it. Watch my mind say this and that about my stillness.
And boy oh BOY can I get still.
This picture is from a friend's timeline on Facebook - Chaitanya FX. He's a meme Lord. Yeah, it's a thing lol.
If you get a chance to check him out (lots of Human Design references, but also, beautiful trees and some current event conversation provocation ... irony and puns too)... please tell him I said Hi :)
Anyway, I've been watching my stillness for a few days now. Sooooo still.
But -
Something always comes from the stillness.
Today it was clarity around why Right Mind 'Boredom' is a thing. Maybe extra so because my G center (the one that's related to having a fixed sense of identity and direction) is completely open.
My ah hah came in the form of my answer to this question he posed.
(also gave me an idea about a couple of posts I want to stick on here and link to in the announcement post <- reminder to me lol)
Here's how I answered this question -
"What could you talk for hours about with absolutely no preparation?"
Me: "Whatever gets pulled out of my Right Mind"
'Cause here's the thing - 'till something gets pulled out ... I don't have anything to talk about.
Like literally nothing.
The stillness has shown me that.
Questions both incoming and outgoing - are my oxygen. Especially with recognition.
It's how I get to the bottom of things. It's how I understand 'what's not working'.
Everything else is a blank ... a coddiwomple ... the real life version of 'not all who wander are lost'.
(and that's okay)
In between, I rest.
