Over the weekend, farmers began arriving - in their tractors and other large equipment.
The grassroots organization and self-sufficient community energy is something that really appeals to me.
Have seen more than one comment in my wanderings along the lines of “when Canadians get mad, you know there’s a problem”
Am also learning an awful lot about Canadian politics (the Trudeau years anyway), Ottowa local authorities (the city counsel, police chief … beginning to banter around words like insurrection 🙄) and even getting to know Canadian geography - it was always this homogenous blob to our North for me.
