Self-healing stories on the rise?
Seems to me that self-healing stories are being shared way more these days.
Of course when done well (authentic storytelling) these are often also quite magnetic and can be amazing - unintended … marketing.
That’s what marketing is really - anything that comes before a sale.
So I guess it’s only marketing if there’s transaction possibilities. Some people have no transaction possibilities. Which is fine I suppose, but it doesn’t really leave space for flow imho.
Maybe it’s my Markets Environment or Tribal channel viewing limitation - but to me, everything is quite literally adding up to draw me/others in or inviting them to go away … ooh there’s a 3rd line theme there too “bonds made and broken” 😅
The problems come when we think we can control that ish and still be authentic. ‘Trying’ to be authentic misses the mark. We can only be or not be.
And all of it is marketing something
The next post I have in the queue, is a share from a fellow named Darius.
It’s an example of authentic storytelling that, though it doesn’t intend to market, it sets the know like and trust stage so perfectly… and is totally magnetic.
I think that’s because it’s a hero’s journey format.
Short version you’ve maybe heard from me before -
- Here’s how it was before
- Here’s what happened/what I discovered
- Here’s what it’s like now
