Open G Center - what I know so far
This is something I wrote for an Open/Undefined G Center group on FB back in June.
It’s a group with basically zero activity (I guess we’re all off wandering elsewhere lol.
Solid post though, so worth saving/sharing here -
“Have just arrived. 👋🏼
About to embark on experiment year 7
I think my open G is possibly my favorite center - I can see the freedom of having no limitation there and as a Projector, it seems to offer an advantage when recognized to guide others.
Markets internal with an undefined ego too though and until I found a way to position offers that promises no particular direction or outcome (by basically saying that upfront 😄), I definitely struggled.
“Find your purpose”, “find your passion” ... even “You have to niche down” are all conditioning that run rampant through at least the Western world at this point. And it’s not for us.
If you happen to be an entrepreneur too, in marketing, for example - we “niche” for the other. So THEY can find their way.
What works best for me is to be as transparent as I can about my interests (getting better at that through a newish community I call Planet Andrea), especially because I’m ‘observed’ in my environment - this seems to help people to know the actual me without me having to define myself for them.
And also to work in “projects” and create “containers” for this and that. That way I don’t have a long term commitment to anything in particular, but can also easily let the people who arrive help to shape whether there’s a next “iteration/chapter” or something else.
Per my own Authority and what I have energy for or not, of course.
I also have a Color 2 PHS (taste) which fits in here too - things naturally have their season... and some seasons last longer than others 🤷🏻♀️
This is reminding me of a Harrison Ford quote that I was enamored with from the first time I read it. I can try to track it down and post as a comment... maybe it’ll serve you too.
Anywhoo ... hi 👋🏼 ... it feels good to be amongst others who are wandering - and correctly so 🤗
Two of my favorite sayings that I think can soothe the restless open/undefined G ... pictured here 🙂
The first was a salve to my 3/5 emo MG daughter in her teenage years when everyone around her were enthusiastically applying to colleges and expecting her to be doing the same. Both of her siblings have defined G’s and that’s had it’s impact too. Luckily she’s 8+ years older than them - I think that may have saved her a lot of angst and unintentional trauma tbh.
Total luck of the draw.
And the second describes exactly how I see myself 1/3 emo P with a completely open G and Head center. It’s how I move through the world 😋”
